Caring philosophy

We believe in creating long lasting clothes, through sustainable and ethical means. Our ethos is always around 'slow fashion' - we only produce small collections of timeless pieces made of the highest quality natural fabrics such as silk, cotton and cashmere.

We work with some of the best fabric suppliers across Italy who invested in the new technologies to meet sustainability standards.  All SILE garments are proudly printed in Italy, in a small family owned printing mill. It is located in lake Como region, famed textile district where tradition of excellent quality printing on fabrics is passed down from generation to generation.

Our clothing are carefully altered, cut and sewn by a small Lithuanian factory run by women only. They all have been paid good wages and are proud of their job.

SILE printed garments feature hand cut fabric, not like other clothes which are manufactured in a mass production environment. For example, all front parts of our printed t-shirts and sweatshirts are cut by hand. This might sound like an odd thing to promote but there is a specific reason behind our process which requires more precision and higher costs. When garments are cut in stacks, there is no control over where the prints sit on the finished piece and the outcome would not be the quality apparel you our customers always expect from us.

We seek that our wearers would feel the love we have put into our garments, and hopefully through this good energy, they will keep our pieces by their side, as long as they walk this earth clothed.
